The top half of the wood sample is unfinished and the lower half is finished with clear semi-gloss polyurethane.

whitish or yellowish-white colored sapwood, with a rich red or brown colored heartwood. Straight-grained and highly lustrous when properly finished. Fairly stiff and highly resistant to shock. Excellent stability.
